Environmental Drilling Services – Coring, Soil Sampling & Installation of Monitoring Wells

Previous Maudlin International Trucks Site – 2300 S Division Avenue, Orlando, Florida

ATI Companies Environmental Drilling Team conducted Concrete Coring, Soil Sampling and Installation of Monitoring Wells to assess contamination at the previous site of Maudlin Trucks International in Orlando, Florida.

A GEOPROBE 6600 and GEOPROBE 7700 were used for the coring, DPT sampling and installation of Monitoring Wells.

The Soil Samples were immediately handled by the client to assess the organic vapor content. The key pollutant found was TCE – Tetra-chlorine Ethane. Organic Vapor Assessment (OVA) on site technology was used by the client to obtain immediate results using a Flame Ionization Detector (FID).

Project Services

  • Installation of 4 Temporary Monitoring Wells to 20 ft using DPT – 1 inch in diameter with 10 ft of Prepack Screen
  • Hand clear to 5 ft and macrocore to 15 ft for soil samples.
  • Installation of 5 temp. wells to 35 ft. Temp wells are 1" inch in dimeter with 5 ft of prepack screen
  • Hand clear to 5 ft and macrocore to TD for soil samples
